Sales Manager - Multifamily; Philadelphia, PA

Sales Manager for Multi‑Family – Lead a team of seven field account representatives selling MRO supplies and related products to the apartment industry within the Philadelphia and surrounding areas, including New Jersey.

• Manage the day‑to‑day activities of sales representatives grouped by channel, market, or product unit.
• Define the sales process, develop and implement effective sales strategies, and drive desired outcomes.
• Analyze territory data, generate reports, and identify opportunities for sales and revenue growth.
• Spending time in the field, interact with customers and internal partners to resolve escalated issues.
• Develop sales processes that increase market share within the assigned territory.
• Recruit, hire, coach, and develop direct reports, including outside sales and special product sales; provide performance management and career development.
• Operate a personal vehicle for travel; such trips will exceed 20% of the work week and require a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
• Plan, forecast, and report on sales and competitive pricing activities.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards while traveling.

• Previous sales leadership experience in a similar industry.
• Experience in B2B sales and consultative selling techniques.
• Experience evaluating talent and building high‑performing teams.
• Large volume product line experience; knowledge of hardware, electrical, lighting, and related facilities products.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and Salesforce (or similar CRM).
• Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities.

BS/BA in a related discipline required; 7+ years of experience in the field. Advanced degree may offset less experience in some disciplines. Certification may be required.

$92,500.00–$ per year (base salary). Monthly sales incentive may apply.
