Account Executive

Sentry Insurance seeks an Account Executive to grow commercial insurance business in a captive Pennsylvania territory. In this role, you'll prospect and manage a pipeline of business clients, conduct needs analyses, and recommend tailored property, casualty, and employee benefits solutions. You'll own the full sales cycle-from outreach and presentations to negotiating terms and closing-while partnering with underwriting, claims, and service teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a sales plan to grow commercial insurance business in a defined Pennsylvania territory.
• Prospect, qualify, and manage a pipeline of business clients through the full sales cycle.
• Conduct needs assessments and propose tailored insurance and risk management solutions.
• Deliver professional presentations and proposals to decision-makers and buying committees.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and coverage with prospects in line with company guidelines.
• Collaborate with underwriting, claims, and service teams to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasts, and activity reports for territory performance.
• Build long-term relationships with clients, agencies, and local business communities.
• Stay current on insurance products, regulations, and competitor offerings.
