Clinical Research Project Manager – This role independently leads and manages clinical trials from study start‑up through close‑out ensuring adherence to protocol requirements, institutional standards, and applicable regulatory guidelines. The manager provides operational oversight of research activities, including feasibility planning, subject recruitment and retention, data and specimen management, and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities- Independently oversee and execute all phases of clinical trials, including feasibility assessments, protocol coordination (screening, recruiting, enrolling, consenting), data and specimen management, and preparation for monitoring visits.
- Prepare, review, and submit regulatory and IRB documentation in a timely manner; maintain accurate study records and subject logs; track study finances.
- Perform quality control assessments to ensure integrity, accuracy, and audit readiness of clinical trial data.
- Lead or support research operations within a division or department, contributing to and implementing standard operating procedures.
- Represent the organization internally and externally while providing expert consultation on clinical research processes and compliance.
- Maintain regulatory document version control; ensure all clinical trial documentation is "audit ready."
- Participate in feasibility assessments and maintain an efficient organizational structure for processing all clinical protocols.
- Experience with sponsor visits (monitoring, auditing, site activation) and timely resolution of regulatory action items.
- Knowledge of GCP and all applicable regulations.
- Strong project management skills using tools such as spreadsheets and progress reports.
- Experience overseeing NCI cooperative group protocols, industry‑sponsored trials, and investigator‑initiated studies, including multi‑site projects.
- Bachelor’s Degree (required);
Master’s Degree preferred. - 5 years clinical research experience, with at least 3 years in clinical research and 2 years of lead/project management experience.
Workday (United States) – Regular Employee. Primary location: 5501 Old York Road, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
