Role Overview

Pyramid Consulting, Inc is hiring an entry‑level Scientist II – Chemistry. This is a contract role located in Malvern, PA, with a compensation range of $83k to $94k. The position is 12 months with potential for extension.

• Manage laboratory operations, including instrument scheduling, preventive maintenance, calibration, and new equipment onboarding.
• Perform chamber maintenance, such as cleanouts, defrosts, and reagent moves.
• Maintain laboratory safety, housekeeping, and organization.
• Conduct laboratory audits and support quality assurance.
• Schedule and communicate with vendors and service teams.
• Coordinate activities with internal and external teams to ensure compliance.

• Minimum 2 years of laboratory operations experience in a GXP environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field (or Master’s with at least 1 year of relevant experience).
• Experience with electronic lab notebooks and Microsoft Office products.
• Familiarity with Smart Sheets, Power BI, or Tableau is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with limited guidance.
• Demonstrated ability to complete tasks in a timely manner.
• Experience working in a GXP laboratory is required.
• Completion of at least three core lab operation activities is required.

Pay range: $40–$45/hr employee benefits include health insurance (medical, dental, vision), a 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave, subject to location.
