Metro Heating and Cooling is expanding--and we're looking for a Licensed Plumber to help build and grow our plumbing division in Allegheny County. We're a second-generation, family-owned mechanical contractor serving Western Pennsylvania since 1971. Known for our craftsmanship, reliability, and integrity, we've built a strong reputation in HVAC and mechanical work--and now we're expanding our plumbing operations.

You’ll handle a mix of residential and light commercial plumbing work while helping to shape the foundation of our growing plumbing division.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance for residential and commercial projects
• Lead or assist in building out the company's plumbing service and installation processes
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
• Troubleshoot and diagnose plumbing systems and fixtures
• Ensure compliance with local plumbing codes and safety standards
• Work collaboratively with HVAC and project teams
• Mentor apprentices or junior plumbers as the division grows

• Licensed Plumber in Allegheny County (required)
• 4+ years of plumbing experience in residential and/or commercial work
• Strong understanding of local plumbing codes and permitting processes
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
• Reliable, safety-conscious, and detail-oriented
• Professional communication and customer service skills
• Valid driver's license with a clean or nearly clean driving record

• $40 - $50/hour
  , depending on experience and licensing level
