We are seeking an experienced carpenter to join our dynamic team. This role involves working on large-scale commercial projects such as office buildings, retail centers, schools, and healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will be skilled in structural framing, drywall installation, and finish carpentry, with a strong understanding of commercial building codes and safety standards.
Paying upwards of $30 an Hr!
Responsibilities- Interpret architectural plans, blueprints, and specifications for commercial projects.
- Construct, install, and repair structures including walls, floors, ceilings, partitions, and doors.
- Perform rough and finish carpentry tasks using a variety of hand and power tools.
- Install metal and wood framing, drywall, acoustic ceilings, and millwork.
- Ensure all work meets commercial building codes and project specifications.
- Collaborate with other trades such as electricians, plumbers, and HVAC professionals to coordinate workflow.
- Maintain a clean and safe job site, adhering to OSHA and company safety protocols.
- Inspect work for accuracy and quality, making adjustments as needed.
- 3-5 years of carpentry experience.
- 1-3 years of commercial construction experience.
- 1-3 years of drywall experience.
- Proficient in framing and finish carpentry.
- Experience using hand and power tools.
- Ability to interpret blueprints.
- Ability to lift 75 lbs.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with metal framing.
- Able to pass drug and background checks.
Join a family-owned general contractor that offers room for growth and year-round steady work. Work on commercial construction sites, Monday through Friday from 6 AM to 4 PM. Projects are within a 2.5-hour radius of Mercersburg, PA.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Mercersburg, PA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $30.00/hr.
