Techo-Bloc is a leading manufacturer in high‑end pavers and concrete landscaping products across North America. We’re looking for dynamic individuals to keep our manufacturing equipment operating at peak performance. This role is all about troubleshooting, fixing issues fast, and preventing breakdowns before they happen.
Compensation- Base pay: $33–$42/hr (based on experience) + year‑end bonus
- Night shift differential: $2/hr for hours worked 5pm‑5am
Night Shift: Monday‑Thursday 5pm‑5am.
LocationDouglassville, PA (Serving Reading, Pottstown, Royersford, Phoenixville, Limerick, Elverson, Exeter, Birdsboro, Boyertown, and surrounding areas).
Job Description- Troubleshoot using electrical schematics and multimeter/megger to diagnose electrical issues.
- Properly size components and cabling for new electrical systems.
- Read and understand wiring diagrams to trace electrical circuits; IOs, OLs, contractors, relays, break resistors and other electrical components.
- Maintain, install, troubleshoot VFDs, programmable sensors, SCADA, HMI, and PLCs.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and/or replace mechanical components such as motors, gear boxes, drive chains, sprockets, sheaves, pulleys, rollers, conveyor belts, bearings, and augers.
- Test malfunctioning machinery, identify parts needed and complete repairs.
- Repair, install and dismantle machinery and equipment according to plans which involves working at heights, climbing ladders and using mobile equipment (cranes, forklifts, scissor lifts, etc.).
- Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment to minimize downtime.
- Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including pressure issues, large cylinders, sensors, proportional valves, solenoids & pumps.
- Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes.
- Document and perform all preventative maintenance tasks as required to maintain equipment dependability.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- 3+ years’ experience working in electromechanics, industrial electrician or a relevant field.
- Proven experience in industrial maintenance working with both electrical and mechanical systems in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Proficient in troubleshooting electrical components; IOs, OLs, contractors, relays, break resistors and other electrical components.
- Experience maintaining and troubleshooting 480V AC, 120V AC, 24V DC, and 4‑20 mA systems.
- Able to use multimeter, megger, and other test equipment.
- Experienced in heavy industrial mechanical repairs; rigging, welding & fabrication preferred.
- Experience troubleshooting/set‑up of VFD drives; SEW drives, Siemens, Lenze, & Allen Bradley.
- Proficient with use of power tools, measuring devices, lathe and/or milling machinery.
- Collaborative and works in the spirit of partnership.
- Electro‑Mechanical, electrical certificates or equivalent experience (preferred).

The employee is occasionally required to remain stationary; ascend and descend steps and ladders; and position self in tight spaces.
