Work shift:

Evening (10am to 6pm). Travel: 100% of the time.

Hourly base pay range: $26.73–$40.10. Additional compensation may include commission and incentive programs.

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance (PM), DOT inspections, and follow‑up repairs on light, medium and heavy‑duty vehicles in a mobile/field environment.
• Conduct minor adjustments and repairs on truck equipment such as electrical, brake, cooling, starters, alternators, fan clutches, engine electronics, diesel steering systems, engines, transmissions, clutches, and differentials.
• Diagnose, adjust, and repair equipment including air conditioning systems and other mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and electronic components.
• Inspect, test and use instruments such as handheld computers and pressure gauges to diagnose malfunctions.
• Road‑test vehicles to confirm functionality after repairs.
• Identify problems, assess information, and generate solutions using sound judgment.
• Manage parts inventory and perform periodic reconciliation on the company‑issued service truck.
• Maintain the service vehicle, perform safety checks, and conduct pre‑ and post‑trip inspections.
• Provide client service by assessing needs, offering information, and resolving issues.
• Prioritize concurrent tasks and allocate time effectively.
• Utilize hand tools, precision instruments, diesel tools, welding equipment, lifts, and jacks.
• Document work and upload pictures, parts used and findings to Repair Orders (RO) via the company iOS device and TRAIT application.
• Complete DOT and other required documentation accurately and timely.
• Operate independently, manage daily schedule, and maintain high productivity within standard repair times.
• Source parts from approved local and national vendors.
• Communicate with management and support teams for repair estimates, purchase orders, and RO findings.
• Ensure all work complies with safety, health, environmental policies, OSHA, EPA, and DOT regulations.

• High School Diploma or GED plus at least 3 years of experience in a related field (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
• Own a complete set of hand tools necessary for the job duties.
• Pass DOT‑regulated pre‑employment background screening and DOT physical (or present a valid DOT medical card with >4 months remaining).
• Be at least 21 years old and hold a valid state driver’s license; maintain a Driver Qualification File.
• Have a clean driving record and safe driving skills.
• Be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship; no OPT, CPT, STEM/OPT, or visa sponsorship required.

• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) T8 (PMI) certification
