Construction Laborer

Scranton, PA

Pay: $20-$25 an hour

We are seeking a dependable Construction Laborer to support commercial healthcare construction projects. The ideal candidate will assist skilled tradesmen, maintain safe and clean job sites, and help ensure projects are completed efficiently while adhering to strict healthcare facility regulations and safety standards.

• Perform general labor duties on active construction and renovation projects.
• Assist carpenters, electricians, plumbers, and other skilled trades as needed.
• Load, unload, and transport construction materials, equipment, and tools.
• Prepare and clean work areas before, during, and after construction activities.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and basic construction equipment safely.
• Install temporary protection, dust barriers, and containment systems.
• Support site preparation, material staging, and project setup activities.
• Follow OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and site-specific safety procedures.
• Assist with moving and installing construction materials, fixtures, and equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Superintendent or Foreman.

• Previous experience in construction, demolition, or general labor preferred.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding work.
• Comfortable using hand and power tools.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to safety.
• OSHA 10 certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).

This is a Contract position based out of Scranton, PA.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Scranton, PA.
