In this role, you will be responsible for assisting professional social service staff daily tasks in order to meet established client goals and objectives. This includes completing paraprofessional case management functions as well as transporting and accompanying children and their families to various appointments. Communication is key as you will assist with or conduct interviews to obtain or verify information necessary to determine each child’s or family’s eligibility or need for a wide variety of social services.

This involves planning, scheduling, conducting, or accompanying professional staff on home visits; sharing your observations and assessments; and meeting with advisors or treatment team members to provide information for their use in the development of treatment plans and goals. Compassion and attention will be essential as you monitor clients or their families in the maintenance of their homes, the care of children, and the use of public transportation.

Our team will also rely on you to provide families with information and referral services; assist with locating housing and community resources; and serve as a liaison to other community organizations under the direction of a professional worker/supervisor.
