Title of Position: Concrete Truck Driver

Location: Malvern, PA

Pay Rate: Approximately $35.70/hour (base and yardage bonus gross estimate)

• Maintain the highest standard of quality and safety while ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of concrete.
• Operate an 80,000 lb ready‑mix truck in accordance with all federal and state regulations.
• Perform pre‑ and post‑trip inspections per DOT guidelines; document and request required repairs.
• Load and pour concrete using ladders, main chutes, and extension chutes, and drive in/out of areas with heavy pedestrian and equipment traffic.
• Maintain delivery, truck, and driving records per company policies and regulations.
• Read delivery tickets and communicate with dispatch for all deliveries.
• Wash residual concrete and materials off and out of all truck and barrel areas.

• Valid commercial driver’s license CDL‑A or CDL‑B and valid DOT medical card.
• Pass a DOT physical and drug screen.
• Ability to work a variable schedule: start times 12:00 am–9:00 am; must call in at plant at 4/5 pm daily.
• One year of preferred driving experience.

• Lift 40–50 pounds regularly.
• Climb traditional and truck ladders.

• Stand or sit for long periods.

• Hear sounds and recognize differences.
• Make fast, repeated finger, hand, and wrist movements while driving.

• Move two or more limbs together while remaining in place.
• Hold arm and hand in one position or steady while moving arm.
• See details of objects a few feet away.
• Use muscles to jump, sprint, or throw objects.
• Use muscles for extended periods.
• Be physically active for long periods.
• Determine direction of a sound.
• See differences between colors, shades, and brightness.
