Job overview and key responsibilities:

The Warehouse Associate/Delivery Driver is responsible for delivering and transporting HVAC freight and materials daily from our one of our established wholesale HVAC distributorships that carries multiple brands of equipment, parts and supplies to customers, vendors and/or internally to other Sales Center locations. Also works in the warehouse performing a variety of duties as needed.

• Delivers product specified to various locations in a safe and efficient manner
• Coordinates with management safe and efficient delivery route
• Verifies with customer at time of delivery correct product delivered in satisfactory condition
• Maintain all required certifications required by DOT, OSHA and company safety programs
• Responsible for daily checklist of truck maintenance and reporting in/out times with merchandise returns
• Maintains truck maintenance records
• Notifies management of any safety issues with company vehicles.
• Pulling, loading and unloading orders paying careful attention to details for accuracy
• Keeps warehouse clean and orderly
• Assists in performing inventory counts
• Other duties as assigned
• This is a non CDL position

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift

Pay:

• Starting at $18.50/hour base plus generous bonus plan

Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED
• Must be comfortable operating a non CDL box truck
• Prior Delivery driver experience (at least 1 year)
• Prior Warehouse experience (at least 1 year)
• Fork lift experience preferred
• Must possess a clean driving record with no restrictions
• Must have current DOT physical card or be able to pass DOT physical examination requirements within 90 days of employment
• Must be able to communicate effectively with customers and provide superior service
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
• Attention to detail and customer focus
• Excellent attendance and strong work ethic
