* POSITION SUMMARY:

** The Warehouse Specialist receives, stores, and distributes material, tools, equipment, and products within the warehouse, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all job functions.
*
* ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

** (The following duties and responsibilities are all essential job functions, as defined by the ADA, except for those that begin with the word "May.")
* Assist with shipping and receiving, including unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, matching purchase orders to sales orders, and distributing to sales associates for processing.
* Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed and/or shipped.
* Move materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated areas.
* Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to a predetermined sequence, such as size, type, style, or product code.
* File requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distribute items to shipping or to designated storage area.
* Ensure the warehouse is accessible and safe for personnel traffic.
* Assemble orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves or relocate orders to a holding area or shipping department.
* Keep logs and records of warehouse stock, executed orders, etc.
* Organize transportation activities, including storage of goods, managing information accrued from point of origin to delivery, orchestrating transportation movements, and arranging for services as necessary.
* Maintains quality throughout the logistics processes.
* Plan warehouses and distribution centers for efficiency in both operations and capacity.
* Mark materials with identifying information using the appropriate method.
* Open bales, crates, and other containers.
* Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed via appropriate computer program.
* Assist in counting physical inventory.
* Weigh and count items for distribution within the plant to ensure conformance to company standards.
* May be assigned facilities maintenance duties as needed.
* Complete requisition forms to order supplies from other departments.
* Prepare parcels for mailing.
* Organize the warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times.
* Wear the proper safety equipment.
* Performs other related duties as assigned to assist with successful operations and business continuity.## Qualifications
** POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
*** Successfully passes background check, pre-employment drug screening, and any pre-employment aptitude and/or competency assessment(s).
* Proficiency in spoken English language.
* Position requires in-person, predictable attendance in Leetsdale, PA.
* Valid U.S. Driver’s License required. Most employment is contingent upon meeting company driving standards, including 3 year U.S. driving history and an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) in accordance with Company policy*.
