Contract Gearbox Fitters
Experienced Mechanical Fitters wanted for high-paying contract roles specialising in gearbox repair, overhaul, and rotating equipment maintenance.
What You’ll Be Doing

* Strip, inspect, repair, and rebuild industrial gearboxes

* Diagnose faults in motors, pumps, and rotating machinery

* Work from engineering drawings and tight tolerances

* Carry out precision assembly and overhaul work

* Support maintenance and breakdown operations on industrial and plant equipment
deal Candidates Will Have

* Mechanical fitting or gearbox overhaul experience

* Knowledge of industrial, agricultural, or plant machinery

* Ability to read technical drawings

* Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills

* Experience with pumps, motors, and rotating equipment
Pay & Benefits

* Competitive rates from £22 to £30 per hour (limited)

* Overtime available (up to 1.5x rates)

* Company van on selected roles

* Door-to-door pay available on some contracts
