Position Summary
As a Sales Consultant at One Water Marine, you will assist customers throughout the sales process, ensuring an exceptional experience by utilizing the defined sales process. The ideal candidate is passionate about delighting customers and achieving or exceeding volume and margin sales goals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Greeting and engaging walk-in customers, phone inquiries, and online leads using One Water sales tools such as CRM; developing relationships by understanding customer needs.
- Professionally presenting products, reviewing features and benefits.
- Managing the sales process from start to finish: preparing quotes, completing trade evaluations, presenting pricing while maintaining margin and customer satisfaction goals; partnering with business manager for finance requirements.
- Closing sales and meeting or exceeding monthly and annual sales goals.
- Maintaining product knowledge of store offerings, including boat models, brands, features, and accessories; staying updated on industry trends.
- Providing post‑sale support and ensuring customer satisfaction; following up with past clients to promote repeat business.
- Attending sales meetings and participating in boat shows, store, off-site sales and customer events.
- Completing and maintaining all required paperwork throughout the sales process.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Independent and collaborative work ability.
- Positive, customer‑oriented attitude.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software (Salesforce or similar).
- Prior experience in marine sales is a plus.
- Solid understanding of marine products, accessories, and boating trends is preferred.

Work EnvironmentWork is primarily in a sheltered indoor environment with no adverse conditions. The environment is sedentary with occasional light lifting up to 20 pounds.
