As a Service Technician, you'll play a critical role in delivering excellent service and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities Include:- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and performance concerns using advanced diagnostic equipment and testing procedures
- Perform repairs, maintenance, and warranty work according to Chevrolet and GM standards
- Complete repair orders accurately, efficiently, and with a focus on quality
- Conduct multi-point inspections and recommend additional service needs when appropriate
- Road test vehicles to verify concerns and ensure repairs are completed correctly
- Collaborate with service advisors, parts personnel, fellow technicians, and management to provide an exceptional customer experience
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Document diagnostic findings and repair recommendations clearly and accurately
- Stay current with GM technology, service procedures, and training requirements
- Follow all dealership and manufacturer policies, procedures, and safety standards
Qualifications:
- Experience as an Automotive Service Technician required
- Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and repair skills
- Ability to perform maintenance, warranty, and repair work efficiently and accurately
- ASE Certification preferred
- GM or Chevrolet factory training is a plus, but not required
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Professional attitude, integrity, and dependability
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull automotive parts and equipment
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and reaching
- Ability to safely operate shop tools, machinery, and vehicles
