Traveling Superintendent – Ground-up Commercial Construction. Seaford, DE (Travel Required).

Seeking an experienced Traveling Superintendent to lead commercial retail ground-up projects, starting with a $4M project in Seaford, Delaware. Projects are located across the Northeast, Southeast, TX, KY, and OH.

Compensation: $80K–$110K base •
Annual Christmas Bonus

Typically equal to two weeks’ salary •
Per Diem: $35/day for traveling projects •
Insurance: They are not able to offer a company sponsored health insurance plan at this time. They can provide a stipend if needed! •
Vehicle: Company truck provided if required (must be disclosed upfront) or mileage reimbursement for personal vehicle;
Gas and tolls expensed monthly •
Travel Lodging: Hotel paid directly by the company;
Airbnb or alternate lodging reimbursed •
Minimum onsite hours: Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

• Lead daily onsite construction operations
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and inspections
• Manage schedule, quality, safety, and budget
• Oversee AHJ, fire marshal, and health inspections
• Issue weekly look-ahead schedules and maintain daily logs

• Commercial retail ground-up builds (no multifamily)
• Grocery, auto parts, car wash, and storage facilities
• Project size: $750K–$5M
• Ground-up duration: 1–8 months

• Must have commercial retail ground-up experience
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or 5–10 years equivalent experience
• Procore experience strongly preferred
