Within the Customer Service team, the Customer Service Representative will contribute to sales targets, profitability, and customer satisfaction. As a Customer Service and Supply Chain Support, you are the key contact for Schunk Xycarb Technology, ensuring seamless communication between customers and our global organization.
Customer Service RepresentativeWith a commercial mindset, you contribute to sales targets, profitability, and customer satisfaction. You play a vital role in sales support, order-to-cash processes, and customer relationship management, driving business growth and operational efficiency.
What are your main responsibilities?You are the first point of contact for our customers, answering questions, providing information, and devising solutions when needed to maintain a good relationship. You will collect information on delivery times and shipments, and support the development and implementation of the sales plan with your colleagues worldwide.
Communication is crucial, both externally and internally, to ensure all relevant information reaches the right departments. Your key responsibilities include:
- Act as the primary contact for customer inquiries regarding delivery timelines, collaborating with Sales, Purchasing, Logistics, Planning, Product, and Finance teams.
- Draft and follow up on quotations, ensuring timely responses.
- Master the order-to-cash process in the ERP system.
- Maintain customer master data, understand specific requirements, and assist with annual price updates.
- Coordinate with customers, warehouses, and overseas teams on orders, invoices, deliveries, and returns.
- Support forecasting for key accounts and business plans.
- Monitor inventory levels and consignment stocks.
- Handle customer complaints, ensuring timely resolution.
- Provide essential data for business operations and decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and safety regulations.
It is important that you can work independently, are proactive, and think along with solutions. You will have the space to implement and carry through your solutions. Other important skills include:
- An Bachelor degree, preferably in Commerce or Supply Chain;
- Knowledge of and experience with automated systems (ERP);
- Flexible, stress-resistant, with problem-solving abilities;
- Fluent in English;
Dutch is a plus. - Available for a full-time position based in Helmond.
