SUMMARY
Serving as the primary community liaison for Jewish Family Services of Delaware (JFS), you will be responsible for increasing awareness of mental health services, developing referral partnerships, and supporting efforts to expand access to care. This position works collaboratively with community organizations, healthcare providers, schools, and other stakeholders to increase referrals, strengthen community relationships, and help more individuals and families access high-quality behavioral health services and specialized care, including EMDR, oncology counseling, and clinical assessments for children and youth.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Develop and implement outreach strategies that increase awareness of the agency's behavioral health services and support strategic growth objectives
- Build and maintain relationships with referral sources, including healthcare providers, schools, community organizations, employers, and other stakeholders
- Conduct community outreach, presentations, networking activities, and events to promote services and strengthen partnerships.
- Identify barriers that may prevent individuals from accessing treatment and collaborate with internal teams and community partners to improve service accessibility and client engagement.
- Increase referrals and strengthen existing partnerships through ongoing engagement and education.
- Collaborate with clinical, intake, marketing, and leadership teams to improve access to services and enhance the referral experience.
- Track outreach activities, referral trends, and partnership outcomes, and provide recommendations for growth and service expansion.
- Represent the agency at community events, health fairs, professional associations, educational forums, networking events, and stakeholder meetings.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Health, Social Work, Human Services, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in outreach, business development, community engagement, healthcare marketing, behavioral health, social services, or a related field
- Strong communication, presentation, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and deadlines
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and referral tracking systems
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Reliable transportation with valid driver's license and insurance
