This position will work remotely, with the ideal candidate being within reasonable commuting distance to a Pyrotek location.

What your Responsibilities will be:

• Provide first-level support for ERP applications, effectively utilizing the help desk system to assist end users and interact with support staff.
• Monitor and resolve incidents with software vendors to maintain ERP system and related applications.
• Evaluate database schema and data flow to support troubleshooting and report writing.
• Collaborate with senior-level support team members to:
  • Write basic SQL queries and modify existing ERP reports
  • Develop basic SSRS or MS Power BI reports
  • Gain working knowledge of SQL stored procedures, functions, and triggers
• Identify, test, and document bugs and enhancements to the ERP application in collaboration with users and regional support personnel.
• Create and update documentation, including training materials, and provide application training to end users.
• Participate in various ERP-related projects as assigned.

Education/Experience

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Finance/Accounting, Industrial & Manufacturing Engineering or Automation or relevant field of study, plus two (2) years of IS Support or related experience; or equivalent combination of education and related IS support experience.

Experience using ERP applications in a manufacturing environment, required.

Computer/Applications Skills. Proficient computer skills using a variety of software applications systems. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products and Windows Operating System. Knowledge of SQL databases, and ability to use Microsoft

SQL Server Management Studio, SQL Server Reporting Service, TSQL and Visual Studio. Ability to effectively troubleshoot issues starting with clear data collection through to fully explaining solutions to users. Ability to effectively train end users on technical functions of systems and applications.

Basic understanding ofmanufacturingproduction processes, quality control,cost, andother techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods is required.
