** Key Responsibilities**###
** Accounting Leadership & Financial Close
*** Own and lead the
** monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes**, ensuring timely, accurate, and consistent financial statements.
* Establish and maintain best‑in‑class
** accounting policies, procedures, and documentation
** in accordance with GAAP.
* Ensure consistent application of accounting standards across all entities, regions, and business units.
* Continuously improve close efficiency, accuracy, and predictability as the organization scales.###
** Financial Reporting & Controls
*** Maintain full responsibility for the
** general ledger and all subsidiary ledgers**, including AR, AP, payroll, fixed assets, and equity.
* Design, implement, and maintain a robust
** system of internal controls
** over financial reporting.
* Proactively identify accounting, control, or process risks and implement corrective actions.
* Ensure financial statements and disclosures are complete, accurate, and defensible.###
** Audit, Tax & External Coordination
*** Lead and coordinate all
** external audit activities**, including planning, execution, and issue resolution.
* Serve as the primary accounting contact for external auditors, tax advisors, and valuation specialists.
* Oversee year‑end tax planning, CPA financial statement preparation, and compliance requirements.
* Coordinate and oversee the annual business valuation process and equity‑related accounting.###
** Cash, Capital & Balance Sheet Management
*** Oversee
** cash management, banking relationships, and liquidity reporting**, including lines of credit and covenant compliance.
* Manage and control all
** capital expenditures**, including approval workflows, accounting treatment, and reporting.
* Maintain detailed fixed asset records, including acquisitions, disposals, depreciation, and amortization.###
** Accounting Operations & Team Leadership
*** Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team across general ledger, AR, AP, payroll, and related functions.
* Establish clear roles, responsibilities, and performance expectations for the accounting organization.
* Anticipate resource needs and build scalable accounting capabilities aligned with company growth.###
** Systems, Process Improvement & Automation
*** Own and continuously enhance the company’s
** financial accounting systems and data integrity**.
* Identify and implement opportunities to
** automate manual processes**, improve data quality, and strengthen reporting controls.
* Partner with Finance leadership to ensure systems and processes support both accounting accuracy and FP&A insight.###
** Cross‑Functional Partnership
*** Partner closely with the CFO and FP&A leadership to ensure accounting outputs support forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis.
* Provide accounting guidance to operational leaders, HR, and other functions as needed.
* Support benefits renewals, equity transactions, and other enterprise initiatives requiring accounting leadership.
** Salary Range:**$160k-$180k
