Rockville Center is searching for a talented and motivated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our dynamic team. The position is within a Skilled Nursing facility. Candidates should possess passion for the geriatric population, hold a license in the state of NY, be able to evaluate and treat independently without direct supervision, and possess the desire to perform functional therapeutic activities to assist residents in improving their experience.

• Provide care for residents of our Skilled Unit (SNF) and Long Term Care Unit.
• Medication Administration, including IVs.
• Taking and recording vital signs.
• Providing resident care and treatments with monitoring of outcome.
• Provide resident and family education.
• Communication with physicians, NPs, families, and other health care professionals.
• Supervising CNAs.

• Current License-LPN
• Alternate Weekends

Shifts:

7AM-3PM (Every other weekend a must)

Salary Up to $40 an hour
