Certified Nursing Assistant

Seaford Center, a Genesis Health Care skilled nursing facility in Seaford, DE, seeks a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to provide hands-on care for residents in short-term rehab, long-term care, and memory care. CNAs assist with ADLs, mobility, hygiene, and restorative care while accurately documenting observations and reporting changes to nurses. You'll collaborate with an interdisciplinary team in a supportive, patient-centered culture focused on dignity, respect, and quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct resident care including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding
• Assist with safe transfers, ambulation, and use of mobility devices
• Measure and record vital signs and report changes in condition to nursing staff
• Support residents in short-term rehab, long-term care, and memory care units
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in charts/EMRFollow infection control, safety, and fall prevention protocols
• Promote resident dignity, comfort, and person-centered care
• Communicate effectively with nurses, therapists, and other team members
• Assist with restorative and range-of-motion programs as directed
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and respond promptly to call lights
