The Corporate Account Manager ensures Corporate Account sales and profit objectives are achieved, identifies and secures new business opportunities, provides superior sales and customer support, manages the activities of other account managers or field service employees, and manages the business account for Solenis Pool Solutions.
Responsibilities- Forecast and prepare sales quotas and plans in collaboration with the Director of Mass.
- Ensure profitable sales growth within the sales team.
- Utilize customer POS and inventory data to manage and grow Pool Solutions.
- Conduct quarterly customer business updates, review POS data, identify SKU rationalization opportunities and new item replacements.
- Perform line reviews and annual business reviews with existing accounts.
- Travel frequently in North America.
- Develop and implement the national account business plan, including profit and loss, operations, budget forecasting, and sales goals.
- Develop annual and multi‑year sales strategies to meet sales and organic growth targets.
- Collaborate with customer and Solenis sales & service staff to set up program details for new business and act as liaison for rollouts.
- Maintain current knowledge of the company’s products and Field Service operations.
- Assist Field Service teams with development and maintenance of account procedures.
- Leverage internal and external learning opportunities to coach, train and develop.
- Provide periodic feedback to team members to improve performance and customer service.
- Communicate regularly with sales staff and field service staff to provide information, answer questions and assist with issues.
- Develop and maintain solid working relationships with all Corporate Account internal & external associates.
- Work with marketing staff to develop and implement promotional programs, design, create plan‑ograms, and act as the organization liaison for special events.
- Monitor store openings and closings; coordinate with appropriate Pool Solutions staff.
- Organize and attend trade shows and conventions.
- Participate in safety and health program activities and report hazards and incidents promptly.
- Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA).
- 5–7 years of experience in a big box retail environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret and act on data.
- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
