Pay RangeThe pay range for this role is $21.63-$28.85 per hour. Compensation is based on your unique qualifications and experience.

Job SummaryAs a Form Carpenter, you will create molds that shape concrete into various structures such as walls, columns, and foundations. Your work is essential for ensuring that the concrete is poured accurately and safely, adhering to design specifications and building codes.
Responsibilities and Duties- Read and interpret construction blueprints and plans to determine specifications and dimensions for formwork.
- Measure, cut, and assemble wood, metal, or plastic materials to construct concrete forms and molds.
- Set, align, and secure forms in place using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Install and reinforce rebar, wire mesh, and other structural supports within forms as required.
- Ensure formwork is level, square, and properly aligned before pouring concrete.
- Apply form release agents to prevent concrete from adhering to forms.
- Monitor the curing of concrete to ensure proper setting and removal timing.
- Strip and dismantle formwork after concrete has hardened sufficiently.
- Repair and maintain existing forms and molds to ensure they remain in good condition.
- Collaborate with other construction team members, including engineers and laborers, to ensure timely project completion.
- Adhere to safety regulations and best practices to minimize workplace hazards and accidents.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure efficient workflow and safety compliance.
- Operate hand and power tools effectively and safely to complete tasks.
- Communicate progress and any issues to supervisors and project managers.
- Valid driver’s license required
- Proven experience as a Form Carpenter
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and construction plans
- Strong knowledge of building codes and safety regulations
- Skilled in measuring, cutting, shaping, and assembling wood and other materials
- Ability to use hand and power tools effectively and safely
- Strong attention to detail and precision in work
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
- Must be able to work in an indoor office environment and an active outdoor construction site environment.
- Must be able to ascend and descend ladders and stairs.
- Must be able to work in confined spaces and in proximity to loud equipment.
- Must be able to traverse irregular and steep terrain.
- Must be able to work in various weather conditions and be exposed to dirt or dust.
- Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment most of the day.
- Must be able to lift and carry 25lbs regularly and 50lbs occasionally.
