Position: Early Childhood Education (ECE) School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Seaford, Delaware

Degree in Speech‑Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech‑Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a dynamic opportunity dedicated to supporting K‑12 students’ communication needs throughout the academic year, from August 19, 2026, through June 8, 2027. In this flexible, contract‑based role, you’ll work full‑time (35 hours weekly) or part‑time, providing essential Speech‑Language Pathology services that help students achieve their fullest potential. Both SLP‑CCC and Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are welcomed to apply.

  • Current Delaware state license (or eligibility to obtain licensure).
  • Previous experience with moderate to severe student populations is a plus.
  • Background in school settings, early childhood, or working with early intervention students.
  • Confident, effective communicator who flourishes as part of a collaborative educational team.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills, adaptability, and a client‑centered mindset.
Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, deliver, and document speech‑language therapy for students K‑12.
  • Assess, select, and support the use of assistive technology, augmentative communication, and address needs in social language, articulation, voice, feeding, and language delays.
  • Conduct thorough diagnostic and evaluative testing—sharing comprehensive, insightful student reports.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor IEP objectives for assigned students.
  • Maintain consistent communication with families and colleagues to foster student progress.
  • Support students in early intervention and contribute actively to the development of services and strategies for each child’s unique needs.
