Environmental Services Manager

Lead environmental services at Southbridge Care Homes' Seaforth location. As an Environmental Services Manager, ensure a clean, safe environment and oversee departmental staff and operations.

This full-time role requires coordination of maintenance, performance management, and adherence to health and safety standards. You will work closely with the Executive Director to uphold the Southbridge mission of delivering excellence in care while managing competing priorities and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create a safe home environment for all residents

• Oversee hiring and performance management of staff

• Supervise contractors and ensure compliance

• Manage departmental budgets and inventory control

• Maintain health and safety standards across the department

Requirements:

• Post-secondary studies or relevant LTC experience

• Minimum 2 years in a managerial role

• Experience in long-term care settings

• Health and Safety certification required within 6 months

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
