Project Manager

Barber Specialties, Inc. seeks enthusiastic, motivated industry leaders with coachable attitudes.

The Project Manager will work from our Seagoville, Texas office and may require visits to various job site locations throughout the DFW metroplex depending on individual project requirements. The project manager is responsible for planning, supervising, budgeting, coordinating, and ensuring timely completion.

Oversee and manage multiple drywall construction projects; coordinate project schedules; identify and acquire materials; process timely invoicing and change orders; assist field supervisors in early identification and resolution of on‑site issues to prevent schedule delays and negative cost impacts; review scope of work and supplier invoicing; ensure completed work complies with contract documents and company quality standards; conduct and participate in on‑site meetings and inspections as required.

The candidate will have 3‑5 years of experience in Commercial Drywall construction as a Project Manager/Estimator. Experience with a variety of construction methods is a plus. Prior experience with tilt wall construction, healthcare, office buildings, and industrial facilities. Proven record of success in completing projects on time and within budget. Ability to develop and update project schedules and budgets. Ability to read and understand blueprints/drawings and relevant contract documents.

Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment. Superb time management, prioritization, and organizational skills.

Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and dependable. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Excellent problem‑solving skills. Proficiency in using a personal computer and software programs;
Quickbid proficiency and on‑screen takeoff. Knowledge of other programs such as Excel, Word, Outlook, Pro Core, and Plangrid, Win Bid, Plexxis.
