Boeing Commercial Airlines (BCA)We are seeking an Experienced Propulsion Engineer (Level
3) to support our 787 Nacelle Service Engineering team based in Seal Beach, CA.
In this role, you will directly support customer technical inquiries and advocate customer issues within Boeing. The assignment covers emergent‑short flow inquiries as well as long‑flow predictive‑proactive projects. You will perform independent research and coordinate with internal groups and external partners/suppliers. The team works directly with customers to provide world‑class support 24/7, 365.
Position Responsibilities- Review, coordinate, and disposition customer inquiries/issues for 787 Nacelle Service Engineering
- Research prior solutions
- Assess issues for potential safety items
- Engage customers
- Provide technical presentations to internal and external audiences
- Coordinate and build relationships with suppliers and internal teams
- Identify high‑priority customer issues (recurring/costly)
- Provide technical/project management support for projects
The participant may also support:
- Other Propulsion Service Engineering teams (APU, Main Engines, Fuels, etc.) with similar tasks
- Continuous improvement and process efficiency activities
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics or Chemistry
- 3+ years of experience with aircraft systems, structures, or propulsion
- 5+ years of related work experience
- 3+ years of experience in propulsion structures and repairs
- Experience with metallic and composite structures
- Strong customer service attitude
- Willingness to expand into technical areas without prior experience

Pay is based upon experience and qualifications.
Summary pay range: $119,850 - $162,150
