** Flight Operations Engineer (Associate or Mid Level)
** to join the Airplane Flight Manual (AFM) team in  
** Seal Beach, CA.*
* Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Associate and Mid-Level Flight Operations Engineers.

* Primary Responsibilities:

*
* + Develops, maintains and obtains regulatory agency approval for Airplane Flight Manual data necessary for the safe and efficient operation of Boeing airplanes

+ Investigates and analyzes engineering databases, documents, specifications, and change paper to determine customer airplane configurations

+ Uses basic aerodynamic knowledge along with a knowledge of certification requirements and customer expectations to prepare Airplane Flight Manuals using web-based document authoring applications

+ Coordinates review of the AFM with Engineering
- Unit Members and regulatory agency personnel to assure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements

+ Support/contribute to the development of new and existing technologies, tools, and processes to enhance technology readiness and reduce cycle time and cost of authoring

** Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):*
* + Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry

+ 2 or more years' related work experience

** Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):*
* + 5 or more years' related work experience

+ Experience working with the FAA and foreign regulatory agencies

+ Knowledge of aerodynamics, airplane performance, flight test, and certification

+ Experience in developing regulatory manuals and technical service documentation

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience).
