JSL is seeking a candidate for a challenging technical electronics assignment. This position needs a motivated missile test cell technician supporting Naval Surface Warfare Center Port Hueneme (NSWC PHD) at Naval Weapons Station Seal Beach, CA. Primary responsibility is MK-698 test set diagnostics and testing. Formal MK-698 Test Set training provided after a short period of on-the-job training. Provides engineering technical assistance for MK-698 Test Set operations.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need of employer sponsorship now or at any time in the future
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance level Secret
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Follows established SOPs and work instructions and strives towards continuous improvement
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Electronic circuit and assembly troubleshooting experience
• 3 or more years related experience

• Missile Test Set experience
• MK-698 Test Set Experience
• Standard Missile (SM) and Evolved Sea Sparrow Missile (ESSM) experience

Applicants must have an active security clearance and/or the ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Security Clearance. Selected candidates will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements to obtain a DoD Government- granted security clearance. Individuals will be subject to a background investigation to include but not limited to, criminal history, employment and education verification, drug testing, and creditworthiness.
