We are seeking experienced Guidance, Navigation & Control (GN&C) Engineers to support the development, prototyping, and deployment of advanced aerospace and autonomous vehicle systems in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment. This role involves designing GN&C solutions, developing high-fidelity simulations, implementing flight software, and supporting system integration, testing, and operational activities across atmospheric and spaceflight applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, implement, and verify guidance, navigation, and control algorithms for aerospace, autonomous, and high-performance flight systems.
- Develop and maintain 6-DOF (Six Degrees of Freedom) simulations and analysis tools for mission planning, system evaluation, and performance assessment.
- Implement and validate GN&C flight software using MATLAB/Simulink and programming languages such as C/C++.
- Apply astrodynamics, trajectory analysis, and flight mechanics principles to mission design and optimization.
- Support the development of atmospheric flight guidance, navigation, and control functions using aerodynamics and control systems expertise.
- Develop autonomous guidance and control solutions for powered and unpowered flight operations.
- Investigate and resolve operational issues, support testing activities, and analyze system anomalies.
- Create simulation models, test procedures, technical documentation, and operational concepts to support system development and validation.
- Collaborate with systems engineering, software, hardware, testing, and other cross-functional teams to deliver technical solutions.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives through process optimization, automation, and reusable tool development.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in aerospace, autonomous systems, missiles, spacecraft, aircraft, or similar vehicle platforms.
- Strong proficiency with MATLAB and Simulink.
- Experience developing GN&C algorithms, mathematical models, and simulations.
- Programming experience with C/C++, Python, or C#.
- Ability to work effectively in a technical and collaborative engineering environment.
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Aerospace or Aeronautical Engineering.
- 10+ years of related engineering experience.
- Experience with spacecraft operations, space systems, hypersonic systems, or advanced aerospace applications.
- Knowledge of state estimation, sensor fusion, Kalman filtering, GPS/INS integration, or air data systems.
- Background in classical and modern control theory, including nonlinear control design.
- Experience with model-based systems development and flight test support.
- Previous involvement in advanced aerospace, autonomous vehicle, or high-speed flight programs.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to work in ambiguous or rapidly evolving technical environments.
