Mid-Level Programmer Analyst

Mid-Level Programmer Analyst – The Boeing Company’s Information Digital Technology and Security (IDT&S) – Engineering & Product Support organization is seeking an analyst to join the Flight Operations Engineering Support team in Seal Beach, CA or Seattle, WA.

• Designs, programs, tests, implements, documents and maintains computing applications, software and systems.
• Gathers and evaluates end user requirements.
• Writes and compiles code and constructs database objects based on documented design.
• Analyzes information to determine architecture specifications, parameters for software compatibility, application security needs and other application architecture requirements.
• Modifies or upgrades applications to maintain software functionality.
• Identifies and resolves programming or application architecture problems.
• Reviews system performance and identifies and recommends improvements.
• Acts as a technical leader to a team of business and technical developers, as well as subject matter experts.

• 3+ years of experience with aerospace technical publications.
• 3+ years of experience with authoring or publishing systems.
• 3+ years of experience with Scaled Agile Framework or Agile Methodologies.
• 3+ years of experience using SQL for application interactions with databases (Oracle, MYSQL, SQL Server, etc.).

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in a technical discipline.
• Experience with programming practices and languages such as Java, Spring‑Boot, Bootstrap, JPA/Hibernate, Oracle/SQL, Angular, Kendo, Type Script, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, XML, etc.
• Experience with Azure Dev Ops (ADO) CI/CD process including debugging, testing, and integration of software tools.
• Experience with Codex (GPT) and Kiro (Claude) AI.
• Experience with Tanzu.
• Experience communicating with team members involved throughout the completion of projects.

Location:

This position is hybrid. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at the Seal Beach, CA or Seattle, WA location. This may change at the hiring team’s discretion.

Pay Transparency & Total Rewards:
Salary for Mid-Level: $122,400 - $145,000; ranges may vary based on candidate experience, geography, and business considerations.
