Installation & Repair
- Install, service, and repair industrial door systems including:
- Sectional doors
- Rolling steel doors
- Fire-rated doors
- High-speed doors
- Fabric doors
Troubleshooting & Diagnostics
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues, including:
- Broken torsion springs
- Frayed or damaged cables
- Faulty rollers and tracks
- Malfunctioning motor operators and control systems
Preventative Maintenance
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance
- Lubricate moving components
- Adjust door tension and alignment
- Ensure systems meet OSHA safety standards
Technical Skills
- Proficient with hand and power tools
- Ability to operate welding equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematic diagrams
- Basic knowledge of:
- Low-voltage electrical wiring
- Motor controls
- Hydraulic systems

Desired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- AAADM (American Association of Automatic Door Manufacturers) certification preferred
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 safety training
- Strong problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in the commercial door industry
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
- Must have or be able to obtain and maintain an active Defense Bio-Metric Identification (DBIDS) Badge, which requires a favorable Federal, State, and local background check
Working Environment
A fast-paced multi-tasking customer service-oriented environment requiring a high degree of efficient and effective performance. Adaptability regarding schedule and task changes is necessary to accommodate changing priorities. Work performed in all weather conditions.
