Purpose:
To assist, monitor and supervise students in the cafeteria during lunch.
Qualifications:
Education:
HS diploma or HS diploma equivalency
Special Knowledge:
* Constructive and cooperative attitude toward the duties of the aide, the school, the staff and the students.
* Abilitiy to communicate effectively
Salary Information:
* Paygrade: H1
* Days: 165
* Hours:
3 per day
Major
Responsibilities and Duties:
* Monitor and supervise students in the cafeteria.
* Help students advance through the serving line and past the cashier.
* Maintain a lunchroom atmosphere of cheerfulness, cleanliness, orderliness and personal caring.
* Manage student behavior in the cafeteria and make discipline referrals to campus administration.
* Assist in clearing and wiping cafeteria tables.
* Help students exit the cafeteria and return to their classrooms in a safe and orderly manner.
* Attendance at work is an essential function.
* Other duties as assigned by the campus principal or designee.
