Position summary and responsibilities for a Walmart Logistics leadership role focused on managing area performance, staffing, quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. The role emphasizes achieving facility goals through staffing, scheduling, process monitoring, and adherence to company policies and procedures.

• Communicate with or to individuals or groups verbally and in writing (e.g., customers, suppliers, associates).
• Implement the business plan for the area of responsibility by communicating goals, managing staffing and scheduling, assigning duties, and coordinating workloads to achieve facility goals (e.g., production, quality, safety).
• Monitor and manage productivity by preparing, reviewing, and analyzing business reports.
• Maintain quality and safety standards by ensuring associates are trained on logistics and company policies, monitoring compliance, and maintaining procedures and supporting documentation.
• Identify associate, customer, and supplier concerns by listening and consulting with others to determine corrective actions or recommendations for resolution.
• Supervise and develop associates and leaders by assigning duties, coordinating workloads, monitoring performance, and providing feedback; teach, support, and model company policies and procedures; identify training and development needs; participate in hiring, promotion, coaching, teaching, and evaluation of associates and leaders.
• Respect the individual by building high-performing teams, embracing differences, and creating a sense of belonging where associates feel seen, supported, and connected.
• Act with integrity by maintaining high standards of ethics and compliance, aligning with Walmart values, and promoting accountability and responsible corporate citizenship.

• Associate’s Degree in Business, Logistics, or related field and 1 year supervisory experience OR Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Logistics, or related field OR 1 year Walmart Logistics Management experience OR 2 years Walmart Logistics experience OR 2 years supervisory experience.
• Associates must successfully complete all required trainings and assessments (e.g., Academy trainings, Open Door trainings).

• Microsoft Office proficiency
• Experience supervising associates
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Logistics
