Job Summary

A state‑of‑the‑art quartz manufacturing company located in Sealy, TX is looking for a Prep Technician. The ideal candidate will have a professional attitude and appearance, be self‑motivated, hardworking, dependable, and responsible. Candidates must comply with all safety, compliance, and quality standards and procedures established by the Company.

• Follow company safety rules during working hours and ensure safety for themselves and others at their operating station.
• Comprehend positional work instructions and work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Work in a professional manner, be punctual and dependable.
• Keep equipment and work area clean and orderly.
• Work overtime, including weekends.

• Good communication skills and ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Willingness to handle job stress and interact with others in the workplace.
• Follow directions and carry out instructions.
• Work effectively in a team environment.
• Wear a full‑face respirator, eye protection, hearing protection, respirator, and steel toe shoes.
• Work in confined spaces and use PPE in accordance with company safety policies.
• Positive attitude, energy, and 100% effort.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy in record‑keeping, organizational and time‑management skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

• High School Graduate or GED.

• Stand for long periods, walk, climb stairs, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and balance.
• Lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
• Push/pull up to 100 lbs.
• Work in a non‑climate‑controlled environment.
