Evaluation:
Paraprofessionals will be evaluated by the Pre-K Director and/or the Pre-K Classroom Teacher.
Reports To:
Pre-K Teacher/Pre-K Director/Principal
Nature of Work:
Assisting the classroom teacher in creating an inviting, learning environment, which fosters the personal growth of preschool children; nurtures attitudes, skills, and knowledge necessary for future success in school; helps to build ties between home and school.
Essential Job Functions:
- Provides an inviting learning environment.
- Helps teachers with managing groups in a classroom setting.
- Displays a passion for preschool children and helping them become successful educationally.
- Assisting in the day to day activities of the classroom.
- Assisting in the check-in, check-out, and lunch procedures
- Following all school processes and protocols.
- Other duties as assigned.
