Central TRID Processor and Mortgage Loan Specialist
First Security Bank is seeking a friendly, energetic, and team‑oriented individual to join our community‑based team in Arkansas. The candidate will serve as a Central TRID Processor and Mortgage Loan Specialist, ensuring all TRID and ATR requirements are met and delivering personalized service aligned with the bank’s community banking values. This position requires on‑site work.
Key Responsibilities- Assist customers with mortgage inquiries and provide expert guidance throughout the loan process from application to closing.
- Discuss loan terms, rates, conditions, and closing requirements with customers (NMLS license required).
- Promote bank products and services when appropriate.
- Collect and review borrower documentation, including income, credit, assets, and employment.
- Pull credit reports and analyze creditworthiness, debt‑to‑income ratios, and other financial information.
- Prepare pre‑qualification and pre‑approval determinations in accordance with bank and regulatory guidelines.
- Review real estate contracts and gather supporting documentation for TRID and ATR purposes.
- Prepare and maintain accurate, compliant loan files in accordance with bank regulations and internal policies.
- Prepare required underwriting materials.
- Order and track third‑party services.
- Coordinate with processors, underwriters, title companies, and closing agents to ensure timely workflow.
- Prepare preliminary Closing Disclosures (CDs) and assist customers with closing requirements.
- Coordinate the closing, booking, and funding of loans in accordance with bank procedures.
- After closing, scan final loan documents.
- Ensure all loan applications are fully completed and compliant before submission.
- Ensure all activities adhere to banking regulations and internal compliance standards.
- Protect all customer information and bank operations through strict confidentiality.
- Operate computer software and equipment, telephone, scanner, and copier; develop proficiency with internal banking systems.
- Maintain a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and punctual attendance; occasional extended hours and personal vehicle use for business travel may be required.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications- Age 18 or older.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 2–3 years of prior banking, loan assistant, or mortgage experience required.
- Experience with TRID or ATR regulatory requirements preferred.
- Upon hire, NMLS license required.
- Proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, typing, 10‑key, and internet navigation required.
- Commitment to demonstrate Core 5 values with customers and coworkers.
Regularly scheduled hours: 40 + hours per week, Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Extended working hours may be required.
Physical and Mental DemandsStandard office setting with occasional lifting up to 10 pounds; frequent use of computer, phone, and office equipment. Must maintain attention to detail, convey information clearly, and safeguard confidentiality.
