Under direct supervision of the Lead Applications Systems Analyst, the Applications Systems Analyst role is to strategically facilitate the organization’s application needs, including but not limited to support of the MEDITECH system, assist in resolving application issues as they arise day‑to‑day, and support IT support technicians as needed. Responsibilities include ensuring applications are available to end users, accurate, and thoroughly tested, assisting in system startups in a timely and accurate manner, and providing support to other departments where required.

The position is for one shift, five days per week, and the incumbent is subject to overtime, on‑call duty, and callbacks as required by the organization.

Works in a well‑lit, air‑conditioned office. Some travel is required.

The position is prone to many interruptions and repetitive tasks.

• Education:
  
  A college diploma or university degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field preferred.
• Training and
  
  Experience:
  
  Minimum three years of experience with computer operations/operating systems and/or software applications. Solid working knowledge of current technologies. Hands‑on software troubleshooting experience preferred. Experience working independently and in a team‑oriented, collaborative environment is essential.
