  A College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science, information systems, or related field preferred.
• Training and
  
  Experience:
  
  Minimum three years of experience with computer operations/operating systems and/or software applications preferred. Solid working knowledge of current technologies. Hands‑on software troubleshooting experience preferred. Experience working both independently and in a team‑oriented, collaborative environment is essential.

  Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high‑pressure environment is crucial. Proven analytical and problem‑solving abilities. Under direct supervision of the Lead Applications Systems Analyst, the Applications Systems Analyst role strategically facilitates the organization’s application needs including but not limited to support of the MEDITECH system, resolves application issues as they arise from day to day, and assists Information Technology support technicians as needed. They will be responsible for ensuring applications are available to end users, accurate, and thoroughly tested.

They will also assist in system start‑ups in a timely and accurate fashion and provide support to other departments where required. Responsible for one shift, five days per week. Incumbent is subject to overtime, on‑call duty and call‑back as required by the organization.

Works in well‑lit, air‑conditioned office. Some travel is required.

Position is prone to many interruptions and repetitive tasks.
