Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Health Unit Coordinator, Searcy, Full Time, M-FFull‑time LPN position based in Searcy, Arkansas. Reports directly to the RN and provides patient care under RN delegation.
ResponsibilitiesUnder the direct supervision and delegation of the RN, the LPN is responsible for the delivery of patient care through the nursing process of gathering patient data for assessment, identification of nursing problems, implementation and evaluation. Collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes. Serves as a resource nurse when oriented and so directed.
Supports the organization’s mission, vision and values. Applies knowledge of patient age and cultural diversity, along with spiritual and emotional needs into the provision of patient care. Contributes to the provision of quality nursing care through performance improvement techniques that demonstrate positive outcomes in patient care.
- Education: Graduation from an accredited school of practical nursing and current Arkansas licensure as a licensed practical nurse.

Experience:
Individualized orientation period of 2 weeks to 3 months. - Job Knowledge: Demonstrated competency in licensed practical nursing skills, including the nursing process, administration of treatments and medication, collection of patient data relevant to the plan of care/problem list, collaboration with other healthcare providers, and patient education.
- Safety Sensitive: Position classified as safety sensitive; interim disqualifying for active medical marijuana users.
Requires good physical and emotional well‑being. Duties include lifting and moving patients, pushing carts, wheelchairs, and other equipment, and lifting or pushing up to 50 pounds. Must be able to bend over, manipulate equipment, and maneuver throughout the halls, stairways, and patient rooms during emergencies. Requires visual and auditory skills, written and computer entry, and trips to various departments. May involve exposure to malodorous, infectious body fluids, and minimal exposure to noxious smells from cleansing agents.
Exposure may require wearing gloves, masks, gowns, goggles.
