We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Hank's Fine Furniture. With a rich history spanning 44 years, Hank's is a premier independent furniture chain with 13 stores across Arkansas, Alabama, and Florida.

Job Summary:

As a Retail Sales Associate at Hank's Fine Furniture, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, driving sales, and contributing to the overall success of our Rogers store location.

Responsibilities:

Engage with customers in a professional and courteous manner to understand their needs and preferences

Demonstrate product knowledge and assist customers in selecting furniture pieces that meet their requirements

Utilize effective sales techniques such as upselling to maximize revenue opportunities

Operate POS systems with accuracy and efficiency for seamless transactions

Maintain a tidy and organized store environment by restocking merchandise and arranging displays

Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is a plus to cater to diverse customer needs

Handle cash transactions and operate cash registers securely

Experience:

Prior experience in retail sales, particularly in furniture or jewelry sales, is advantageous

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment while delivering exceptional customer service

Familiarity with cash handling procedures and basic math skills

Strong communication skills with fluency in English; knowledge of Spanish is beneficial

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Capable of standing or walking for extended periods

Ability to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds

Flexibility to bend, kneel, squat, and stoop as needed for customer assistance and merchandise organization

Reach overhead or below waist level comfortably for product handling
