Grid Source is seeking an Operator I in Searcy, AR

A Laborer is responsible for executing tasks to assist in the daily operations at a construction site. They handle tools and equipment and adhere to all safety protocols. They prepare the site by clearing out hazardous material and assist the crew members as needed.

• Assist in the loading/unloading of equipment and materials.
• Use a variety of miscellaneous tools and equipment to dig.
• Assist crew members and help them fulfill the project goals.
• Construct temporary structures that aid in the completion of a project.
• Report any tools or equipment that may not meet Grid Source standards.
• Follow instructions from supervisors and crew leaders.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous experience in the broadband industry required.
• The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, or crouch; must occasionally lift and/or carry loads of up to 95 lbs.
• Required to lift 32‑foot ladder.
• Noisy work environment (moderate to loud).
• May be required to climb poles (with proper equipment), ladders, and other structures as necessary.
• Required to work within limited confines such as crawl spaces as needed.
• May need to work near moving mechanical parts and in outdoor environments year‑round in all weather.
• Employee may be exposed to electrical shock, radiation, and vibration risks.
• May be required to work more than 40 hours per week and outside normal business hours, including holidays, evenings, and weekends as business demands.
