TBS Coach​/Therapeutic Behavioral Services

Hiring for Part-time Positions to service youth in Monterey County.

JDTCONSULTANTS, INC. is a premier statewide Mental Health provider of (TBS)
Therapeutic Behavioral Services and (HART) Home Alternative to Residential Treatment and is looking for qualified candidates for the TBS Coach and Family Specialist positions.

Staff work independently in the field, serving youth ages3 to 21, throughout Monterey County. Services are provided in the home, school,and community setting, often in the afternoon (after school), early evenings,and some weekends. College students are encouraged to apply, as the flexibility allows you to work around your academic schedule.
Bilingual English and Spanish candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.

INTERVIEWS:
September 28, 29, or 30, in Seaside

TRAINING: A 2 day training will be scheduled for mid-October at the corporate office in Fresno - Lodging is provided

SUPERVISION EVERY WEDNESDAY:
It is required that you attend weekly Supervision on Wednesday from 10:00 - 12:00/noon in Seaside

Negotiable Starting Rate: $26 - $27 an hour / company-issued cell phone and laptop are provided

Supervision attendance is mandatory and held weekly, Wednesday from 10:00 AM to 12:00/noon, at our satellite office in Seaside

Job Type: Part-time with potential for full-time with availability in the afternoon and evening hours

Must have a valid California Driver License, reliable transportation, and full-coverage auto insurance

Provide direct, behavioralinterventions to reduce youth high-risk behaviors that jeopardize home placement

Coaches work independently, as services are provided in-person, in the client's home,school, or in the community

PPE provided for staff,and for families, if needed

Work closely with the treatment team and caregivers to implement interventions and document progress

Regularly participate in treatment team meetings to review progress and discuss adjustments to services

Timely completion of accurate Progress Notes to document services and other required reports

Candidates must have one or more of the following minimum requirements:

• Bachelor degree in unrelated field and 1 year experience working with youth
• 12 units in SW, Psych, Rehab Counseling, Education Counseling, or Marriage/Family Counseling
• 6 units in SW, Psych, Rehab Counseling, Education Counseling, or Marriage/Family Counseling AND 1 year fulltime experience working with clients in a human service setting
• Current or recent employment that required a background check, fingerprinting

Those working towardsa Bachelor degree are encouraged to apply

Two years of experience working with youth or adults with severe behavioral issues is highly desired

Ability to provideculturally sensitive services to a diverse population

Adaptability to a flexible schedule based on client needs and availability

Maintain a valid California Driver License and provide proof of full-coverage auto insurance
