Building Maintenance

Bayonet Black Horse is excited to announce the exceptional career opportunity of Building Maintenance Staff. Qualified candidates will thrive in a hospitality environment and be highly focused on providing superior service to this Troon managed Club and its members.

Compensation: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour

• Performs general repairs and maintenance for all areas within the operation including but not limited to electrical, mechanical, and structural aspects of the buildings and grounds.
• Maintains cleanliness and appearance of exterior of the facility including but not limited to emptying trash cans and ashtrays, sweeping walkways, picking up litter, and arranging outdoor furniture.
• Maintains cleanliness and appearance of interior areas of the facility including but not limited to emptying trash cans and ashtrays, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and arranging furniture.
• Identifies and reports needed supplies to supervisor.
• Performing quality checks on HVAC, air conditioning, plumbing and electrical systems.
• Checking and responding to security and safety issues.
• Testing and recommending new maintenance products.
• Coordinating deliveries from vendors and suppliers.
• Keeping documents of inspections and problems.
• Doing landscaping, pool maintenance and pest control.
• Keeping an inventory of cleaning and repair supplies.
• Training junior staff, if applicable.
• Performs other duties as required.

• Associates degree or two years of related experience associated with Building maintenance.

• Possesses knowledge in operating electrical, plumbing, HVAC and pool equipment.
• Experience with commercial/building painting.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
