Shuttle Driver / Porter / Parts Support

Wayside Garage is growing, and we're adding a key support role to help keep our shop running smoothly. We're looking for a friendly, dependable, and service-minded person who enjoys helping others, keeping things organized, and being a positive presence for both customers and teammates.

This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in being a team player and shop cheerleader.

What You'll Do:

• Greet customers warmly and represent Wayside Garage with professionalism and positivity.
• Safely drive the customer shuttle.
• Assist with vehicle pick-up and delivery (concierge service).
• Help stage vehicles for customer pick-up.
• Move, park, and stage vehicles for technicians.
• Help clear bays and keep work flowing efficiently.
• Perform light vehicle presentation checks (interior, windshield, overall readiness).
• Assist with shop cleanliness and organization.
• Receive, label, organize, and put away parts.
• Keep the parts area clean and orderly.
• Communicate missing, damaged, or incorrect parts to leadership.
• Perform propane fills when needed (training provided).
• Jump in where needed — teamwork is essential at Wayside.

Weekly Bonus Opportunity

When our Service Advisors earn their weekly bonus, this role is eligible to earn a bonus equal to 25% of the average Service Advisor bonus, provided role expectations are met. You're not selling — but when you help the shop run efficiently, you share in the success.

Automotive experience is helpful but not required — we're happy to train the right person.

Schedule & Requirements:

• Full-time, Monday–Friday.
• Valid driver's license with insurability.
• Able to be on your feet throughout the day.
• Able to lift up to ~50 lbs.
• Comfortable working in a shop environment.
