Surgical Technician

Salary: $30.92 to $47.30 per hour

$8,000 Sign-on Bonus for eligible external candidates

• Completion of a surgical technology program accredited by CAAHEP or ABHES with active certification from NBSTSA, JCAHPO, or NCCT
• OR completion of a surgical training program through a branch of the armed forces or Public Health Service Commissioned Corps with 16 hours of continuing education every two years
• OR grandfathered eligibility based on surgical technology work experience between January 1, 2014 and January 1, 2017 with 16 hours of continuing education every two years
• National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire

Full-time Surgical Technician supporting operating room procedures during day shifts in a hospital surgical services department in Seaside, Oregon.

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technician to support surgeons and perioperative teams in delivering safe and efficient surgical care. In this role, you will prepare operating rooms, maintain sterile technique, and assist during surgical procedures by providing instruments, sutures, supplies, and equipment to the surgical team. The Surgical Technician plays a critical role in maintaining sterile fields, anticipating surgeon needs, and ensuring that surgical procedures run smoothly to promote optimal patient outcomes.
