The school psychologist provides consultation, assessment, and intervention services to families, staff, and children with disabilities within the ESD’s specialized programs. Works with one other school psychologist. ASD evaluations are part of a multidisciplinary team including an SLP and ASD Consultant.

• Administering diagnostic and curriculum‑based assessments
• Using intelligence and academic performance testing to determine student diagnoses and recommendations for specialized services
• Observing students in various academic and social settings to gather insight and data on student functioning
• Providing consultative psychology services to parents and school staff as described in the IEP

• Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology
• TSPC license required
• Minimum of two years of school psychologist experience preferred
• Experience in rural communities
• Familiarity with PSW model for SLD identification
• Strong teamwork skills
