Locum - Nurse Practitioner - Cardiology

CARDIOLOGY NURSE PRACTITIONER POSITION OVERVIEW:

• Accepting full-time (80 hours per pay period)
• 4 x 10’s schedule
• Clinic hours: 0730–1630
• Hospital hours: 0730–1630
• 50% inpatient, 50% inpatient
• Nurse Practitioners currently complete weekly rotations between hospital and clinic (one week in hospital, next week in clinic, etc.)
• Work week is Sunday–Saturday

• 15–18 clinic patients per day
• 8–15 hospital patients per day

• 4 physicians on staff.
• Assigned Medical Assistant to assist with managing patients.
• Triage RN team.
• Device clinic and dedicated device clinic staff.
• General cardiology, invasive cardiology, and electrophysiology support.
• EPIC EMR.

• Holidays paid at 1.25x

• Board Certified Nurse Practitioner – REQUIRED.
• Oregon license (or willing to obtain) – REQUIRED.
• Minimum 1+ year of work experience as a Cardiology Nurse Practitioner – REQUIRED.
• Meets criteria for Medical Staff or Allied Health Professional membership and privilege.
• Clean background / no malpractice – HIGHLY PREFERRED.

• Board Certified Nurse Practitioner – REQUIRED.
• Oregon license (or willing to obtain) – REQUIRED.
• Minimum 1+ year of work experience as a Cardiology Nurse Practitioner – REQUIRED.
• Clean background / no malpractice – HIGHLY PREFERRED.
• Self-Query – NPDB (pulled within the month at time of presentation) – REQUIRED.
• CAQH login and password – REQUIRED AT TIME OF OFFER.
• DEA – Verbal confirmation REQUIRED AT NAME CLEAR.
